I quickly arrived to the conclusion that this bag is ideal for her: full with various items or empty, it still gets to keep its chic design due to all that padding that allows it to keep its shape and also makes it extremely comfortable backpack for the back and shoulders. My wife is very particular about these things so I’m glad that this bag fits all her requirements. Moreover, the fabric of the padded shoulder strap doesn’t leave a weird, uncomfortable feeling when in contact with her bare shoulders.

The bag weights next to nothing on its own, that’s why it’s a real weight saver while packed with stuff. Usually, she carries her ultrathin laptop in the main compartment, together with the power supply extension cord in the nearby sleeve, two external hard disks, a notebook and plenty of pens and pencils in the special small pockets on the inside.

There’s only one problem: my wife’s mobile phone is a bit too large for the cell phone compartment on the shoulder strap, so it barely fits in. Instead, she stores there her iPod which is the perfect size. I cannot emphasize enough how nicely this Belkin laptop sling bag fits my wife. Despites its very minor stray threads here and there, we both reached the conclusion that it is definitely worth every cent.

As far as storage goes: there are few pockets on the outside, just enough so they don’t ruin the overall shape of the bag, but more than enough sleeves on the inside, so I can stuff inside all my daily necessities: my new laptop in the large pocket, along with some textbooks and files, pens and pencils in their special slots (there are two pockets destined to pens but you can use other pockets if two aren’t enough), the power supply extension cord in another sleeve, my nano iPod, its cable and the headset that I can pull outside the bag through the special headphone grommet for easy access, I can even fit my umbrella inside the main pocket. I use the side compartment (the external one, placed on the front of the bag) to store small cables, my keys and other thin things.
For such a slim bag, the Belkin Slim Back Pack can really hold a lot of items. It looks good, I like the colors, the storage room… EVERYTHING about it is great. I’m really happy with my purchase and hopefully I won’t misplace this one too.
