Targus came up with this new, bright idea of offering their customers extra comfort when travelling by air. The new backpack for laptops they created will help clear airport security so you don’t have to remove your laptop from the bag. Therefore the airport processing will be way faster, your laptop will be secured from theft, loss or damage and you will have fewer problems to worry about.

This is a lightweight bag, extremely comfortable to wear. It can fit up to 15.8-inch laptops in its computer sleeve, and it splits down the middle, so your laptop stays perfectly isolated from scratches or bumps. The isolation also allows clear x-ray scanning.

One week ago, my wife bought me this backpack for laptop as my birthday present. I liked its design a lot, but I thought it wouldn’t match the business outfit I have to wear every day. Well, I admit, I was still fond of my old suitcase; I’m a bit old fashioned.

Then I went to a business conference in Paris and I had to take the bag with me in order to please my wife. Packing was never an easy thing to do for me, but with Targus Zip-Thru my problem was solved within minutes.

It has 3 major compartments, the back one is especially designed for laptops and it can easily fit my 15.6 inch Acer Aspire laptop; there is also a small compartment that splits the bag in two and a larger sleeve were I stuffed a set of indoors clothes. A large external pocket is placed right in front of the bag and there I stored some files, the laptop adapter and some hygiene items. It also features some smaller pockets for various accessories.

Moving around with this backpack in the airport was quite ok. All the weight of my bag rested on my shoulders instead of my right hand, and that was a pleasant change. The check in was a lot faster than usual, I only had to unzip the special compartment and split the back in two for easier X-ray scan. I still had to take out the laptop since they scan it separately, but that took only few seconds so I gained extra time to visit the shops till my plane arrived. In the plane the bag fit perfectly under my seat.

If you travel by air, this Zip-Thru Air Traveler Backpack is a must have. It saves you a lot of time at check-in and it doesn’t feel like a boulder pending on your shoulders.

Targus have designed this backpack for laptops in order for it to accommodate up to 15.6-inches laptops. This bag is very comfortable to wear, due to its two well padded shoulder straps and the convenient carry handle.

The unique and fashionable aspect is given by the 3 large pockets, marked by zippers of light grey: in addition to the main computer department, this backpack features a large sleeve for books, binders and other items of such kind, while the smaller, exterior pocket provides plenty of space for school or work accessories like pens, credit cards, small notebooks, pocket pcs, cables and so on.

It is constructed of very resistant nylon material and it also features two adjustable water bottle pockets plus an extra side zippered pocket.

I started college this fall and I was desperately looking for a backpack for my laptop. After many hours of searching on the Internet I finally found it! This backpack for laptops instantly caught my attention; I didn’t hesitate to purchase it and now I’m glad that I did so. I use it everyday, since I always bring my laptop along, and so far this backpack hasn’t disappointed me; it has plenty of storage space for the power supply, books, school accessories, ipod and even clothing.

I particularly like the display of those three sleeves marked by grey zippers, it helps me keep all my stuff organized. I use the small front pocket to keep my audio devices and cell phone, the middle pocket for school books and the large one for my laptop and cables.

When I have to leave the house for 8-10h a day I always take with me an extra t-shirt, and even with all this weight on my shoulders it’s still comfortable due to those padded shoulder straps that take all the pressure.

Another great advantage of this backpack is its simple design and I can tell you now, it really has good zippers; even after a few months of daily usage they haven’t got stuck once. The main compartment designed for the laptop is padded and if you wonder whether that is enough to assure your equipment safety, it really is! Within these past few months I constantly dropped my bag in all that school rush, yet my laptop is still in perfect condition. I even carry the bag with me on my school trips.

If you need a simple and resistant backpack for any kind of outing: school, work or trips Targus BTS Groove TSB152US Backpack for Laptops should be the perfect choice for you too. I haven’t regretted once buying this product; it’s really worth the money.

This black backpack for laptops is just another proof of craftsmanship and high quality claimed by Swiss Gear. Made from ballistic nylon for maximum durability, with padded shoulder straps for extra comfort and a padded main computer pocket, it can please the most exclusive tastes.

The backpack features plenty of smaller pockets for accessories: a water bottle pocket with elastic mesh that accommodates different bottle sizes, front organizer pockets for business accessories, large file sleeves to stock magazines, files or multiple textbooks. Even if fully loaded, the bag’s smart design allows for the weight to put little pressure on your shoulders. The inner padded laptop sleeps can accommodate most 15-inch laptops.

I bought this backpack for laptop 3 months ago for its tank-like design. It looked like it could carry A LOT and I found it way larger than it seemed to be on the internet pictures I saw before. That didn’t bother me much, as I usually need to carry many items with me and I was happy to find out it could safely store all my necessities.

One of the reasons why I bought it is because it is less conspicuous than this regular type of bag, it doesn’t draw much attention and it’s proper for various occasions. The bag is water resistant but not water proof, so I usually make sure I don’t push it to its limits when it rains heavily (and that’s a serious drawback).

The bag has two dividers in the front compartment so you can keep things organized. I usually stuff them with small things like notebooks, iPod, cables. It also has an additional pocket on the side, for various-sized water bottles. It also has an easy accessible and removable mobile phone pocket, placed on one of the shoulder straps, but I’m glad it’s detachable, as I’m no fan of such feature. Now the inside: there are two large compartments, one for the laptop (it can accommodate my 15-inch laptop or an ultrathin one, however I haven’t tested it on a 17-inch widescreen yet) and the other one for any other items you might use, even bulky ones, such as a blouse, multiple textbooks or magazines.

After using it for three months, I can confirm it is made of a top quality nylon, so it’s very durable, impact-proof due to all that padding on the shoulder straps and the back of the bag and thanks to that my laptop hasn’t suffered any damage, not even a minor scratch. My own back hasn’t suffered any damage either and this is how I got to really appreciate the thick padding system of this SwissGear laptop backpack.

If you’re looking for a light, fashionable backpack for laptops, then the Mobile Edge Ultraportable Backpack will surely catch your eye.

While having a lot of storage compartments, for various extra items, it is also compact and easy to carry. The multiple easy-access pockets are convenient to store your mobile phone, a bottle of water, a small book or any other item you might need to keep at hand. Aside from the outside pockets, the spacious computer compartment allows you not only to store your netbook, but also other minor items, which makes it ideal for any outing where you want to bring your netbook: school, conferences, work and even camping!

It is made of durable black nylon and ripstop with a classy accent of aluminium grommets.

This is a REALLY practical backpack for laptops; I bought it as soon as I could find it in stores, since I’ve been searching for such a compact, yet slack backpack for laptops for quite a while now and I tried to avoid the regular stuffy, rigid design.

I tried to avoid the mistake I made before when I bought a not-so-flexible portable DVD case where I couldn’t even add a bottle of water without adding extra pressure on the zippers. And that’s when I decided to give up using that case and start searching for a new one. I’m also a great fan of the black-fabric-metallic-zippers combination, it gives me that motorcycle rebel feeling ?

Its sporty looks are complimented by plenty of extra features, like the padded laptop main sleeve which can easily hold both my net book and its power cord, the easy-to-access phone carrier placed on one of the comfy padded shoulder straps and the two flexible pockets for water bottles or other small items, that can easily adjust to objects that vary in size. The great thing about it is that, despite the good number of storage places, where I regularly stuff all the misc junk I like to carry with me, it’s still light and easy to handle and it fits to all occasions, even the most formal ones, like conferences and work meetings.

After using it for a few weeks, I only have a couple of things I don’t like about it: the pens sleeves are a bit too small if you normally use pens with any sort of rubber grip on them, so if you consider buying the Mobile Edge Ultraportable Backpack consider buying different pens. Secondly, the cell phone pocket is a bit too large for my phone and that is a bit annoying, but I can live with it.

Overall, the Mobile Edge Ultraportable Backpack was worth every penny, the quality is great, the handle is well padded so it doesn’t hurt my hand at all and the design is right on my taste.
